TurboChef Ovens

Approach

Commercial ovens are essential for efficiently cooking, reheating, and finishing foods in fast-paced kitchens. TurboChef has set the benchmark in rapid-cook oven technology, becoming a trusted choice for restaurants, cafés, and convenience stores worldwide. At BP, we’ve chosen TurboChef ovens as one of our core refurbished product lines because of their proven performance and reliability.

We begin by thoroughly evaluating each oven’s operation to ensure that the key systems including heating elements, fans, blowers, and control boards are functioning properly. We first do this by reviewing any error codes or faults the machine has previously had. The oven is then fully disassembled for a detailed inspection to check for any visible damages. Internal components are stress tested for wear or damage, and any parts that cannot support another full life cycle are replaced.

At BP, we never resell equipment “as-is.” Every TurboChef oven we offer has been professionally serviced, refurbished, and tested to deliver dependable, long-lasting performance.

Refurbish

Our TurboChef oven refurbishment process is built around a detailed, methodical approach to fully restore each unit. Each oven is fully disassembled, then deep cleaned inside and out. All grease, debris, and carbon buildup—including in the rear vent tube—are completely removed, ensuring the oven is sanitary, efficient, and ready for a second life in your kitchen. The interior cavity and waveguides are thoroughly inspected and cleaned to guarantee proper airflow and cooking efficiency.

Electronic components—including high-voltage capacitors, filament transformers, high-voltage transformers, fuses, diodes, and magnetrons—are rigorously tested to verify safe, reliable operation. Control boards, wiring harnesses, and electronic systems are also examined for faults. We ensure that each oven is tested for microwave leakage and is within OEM standards.

Consumable parts such as door seals and catalytic converters are inspected and replaced when necessary, with each oven receiving a new air filter as part of our standard refurbishment. These steps restore sealing, airflow integrity, and environmental safety. After reassembly, each oven is carefully calibrated for airflow and temperature accuracy, then run through multiple cooking cycles to confirm consistent heating, rapid cook times, and dependable performance.

  • Every TurboChef oven listed will include a photo of the oven cycle count. Oven cycle counts are a general guideline for understanding how much an oven has been previously used. These counts are taken into consideration with the condition grade and price. They are not a hard fast measurement for remaining life due to our refurbishment process as all the internal components are tested for future longevity.
